RIOT-BALL!
Some of the most primal-instinctive activities we humans have, are moving to rhythms and playing together. It is some of the very first things we do as infants, and something we regrettably do less and less as we grow older. As a modern family, we also desperately need more quality time TOGETHER.
Well, this changes now with: RIOT-BALL!
RIOT-BALL is a much needed mental and physical breathing-room, where you go to re-energize together as a family to have loads of fun, while caring for your body and mind : )
RIOT-BALL is a mixture of Dodge-ball, the floor-is-lava and MetCon/Calisthenics exercises, played on a GIANT obstacle-course where you can do summersaults and hide-and-seek, with the chest-pounding sounds of a MASSIVE sound system of several thousand Watts, where you literally FEEL THE BASS IN YOUR ENTIRE BODY!
Instead of “dying” when you get hit by the ball, like in regular Dodge-ball, you instead get to do MetCon/Calisthenics exercises on your own personal difficulty-level to the beat of the music for 16 reps, and afterwards you become “alive” again.
There is never a dull moment, and you get to burn LOADS OF ENERGY while HAVING A BLAST!
RIOT-BALL combines: Play, sound-therapy, working-out and stretching and mindfulness, while activating all your senses, so that you forget about time and space and enter a state of flow.
It’s dancing for those who don’t get to dance.
It’s working-out for those who don’t get to work-out.
It’s playing for those who don’t get to play.
It’s clubbing for those who don’t get to go to discotheques.
It’s mindfulness for those who don’t get to meditate.
It’s Yoga/Pilates for those who don’t get to stretch.
In other words: It is the entire palette of bodily expressions and sensory impressions, seasoned with the spice of life, candy for the soul and treats for the ears! Everything performed as effortless as child’s-play, all the while being extremely fun and entertaining!
I’m a DJ (or rather: EJ – Energy Jockey, if you will), and meticulously prepare a banging playlist that is mixed dynamically, and adapted to the player-demography, with anything from 80-90’s, pop, rock and EDM, to classics and golden-oldies.
The workouts are synchronized to the tempo of the songs, culminatinh at the drops. We turn up the intensity as we go through the music selection, but also with the amount of simultaneous balls in play.
RIOT-BALL if for THE ENTIRE FAMLY, regardless of age, shape or injuries. You participate on the level that YOU SEE FIT, and there is no one yelling at you that “you are doing it wrong”.
The only thing that is mandatory IS HAVING FUN!

We start off by warming up together. Then we play RIOT-BALL until we are dripping with sweat and our cheeks are tired from laughing. Then we wind down doing a full body-scan breathing meditation to binaural-beats and finish off by stretching.
